![]() It was so crowded that there was no room to sit & they were unapologetic. The office is a setting out of DSHS Today. I was told and it was true, that I should block 4 hours out of my schedule to see the doctor, a specialist. I was referred to Dr Michael Lee by my optometrist because of a suspicious spot on my eye. I felt he was serving me, and I want to thank him and his excellent staff for taking me in and helping me in my hour of desperation. That is understandable, but truly unfair to trash a good doctor in such a public forum as the Internet. Lee for his own upset over having a bad prognosis. Luckily, my prognosis was much better than the guy who had the Third World Experience. It's true, there weren't enough chairs at all times for all the people who needed to get in. Yes, it sucked waiting forever it that truly horrible waiting room. My optometrist gives Michael Lee the very highest recommendation. I was in a terrifying situation where I was seeing flashing lights and big black floaters in my eye. The problem with the review is it doesn't tell you that if you have an emergency situation they will fit you in that same day. ![]() ![]() I couldn't agree more with the comments on the waiting room. I have to write a counter review to balance out the one entitled Third World Experience. This is THE place to have your eyes taken care of. That procedure lasted only about 5 minutes and then I was good to go. We choose to wait and went down stairs to the deli - great coffee! Then back to the office for more drops and about 15 minutes later I was in the laser room. I had the option of waiting for an hour or scheduling late in the day. Then I was back in for Dr Lee's exam which confirmed my need for laser. I had my eyes tested and then got dilation drops and back out to the waiting area. Easy! You should expect to be moved in and out of exam rooms several times during your visit. Just let the staff know you will be outside and they put a huge note on your chart to look for you there. You have the option of waiting outside the office in the hallway - there are several comfortable benches and chairs. The waiting room is not fancy and quite crowded because most patients, like me, need someone with them to drive. This office is a well oiled machine - they move a lot of people through. Lee is great and his staff is great - extremely efficient. My appointment was 9:30am and I was walking out of the office by 12:30 with a repaired retina (laser). I had an eye emergency and Dr Lee saw me the next morning. I also have to counter the bad review below.
