![]() We actually overheard her tell her staff not to be nice to us when she thought we were on hold. She berated us publicly & treated worse than anyone should ever be treated, especially as a guest. We stayed at this hotel during & after hurricane Ian & were treated so horribly by the manager of this hotel. We will be back and would highly recommend it.… We are moving out this coming weekend and have made many friends here. A special shout out to Heather, Tristen, Sebastian, and many others for making our stay special. There is even a firepit to enjoy, There are so many people to name that made our stay here very comfortable that I can not list them all but I truly never met or saw any staff member that did not speak, have a smile on their face or just be pleasant. The pool area and grilling area are wonderful. Breakfast has many choices and coffee is on all the time. Laundry facilities are clean and well maintained. Our dachshund, Sam, soon made friends with everyone, staff and guests alike and became an instant "celebrity", The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all our needs are met. Their pet policy is exceptional and they truly welcome them. From the beginning when I was searching out places to stay, Heather, went above and beyond to give me all the details about the facility, staff, location, everything I needed to know. We have been staying here since mid May while we wait for our apartment to become available and we couldn't feel more at home. As someone that has allergies to dander, I will have to stay at another Hilton property in the future.… Unless the cleaning staff is shampooing the rugs between dog stays, animal dander gets in the rug, bed etc. Dog owners need their own designated hotel rooms and space in public areas. As a Hilton Gold member ( we travel often), there needs to be stricter rules. I can see why people would rather do that option instead of an expensive kennel. That is not at all appropriate!! Its only $100 extra to bring the dog for the entire stay. He was holding the leash with one hand and serving himself food with the other. While at breakfast, a man brought his small dog to the breakfast line. Secondly, it was apparent that dogs are now very popular at this hotel. That would prevent the black mulch from blowing in the pool ( see the other hotels in area). A simple fix, remove the black mulch from the shrub area. However, the pool was not vacuumed during our 4 night stay. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The rooms, lobby, and pool area are large, clean and spacious. The staff at the Home 2 Suites is friendly, polite and professional.
